Role
Redline has an immediate opening for a talented Product Manager to join our fast growing, highly motivated, technology driven team in our New York office. Candidates must possess strong technical and communication skills. This position will allow the candidate to leverage technical software expertise to bridge the gap between the customer facing and engineering teams. This position involves managing project prioritization, resourcing, and deadlines across 1-2 small engineering teams..


Responsibilities
As a Product Manager operating in a highly technical field, you will:

  • Manage requirement specifications and issue resolutions for 1-2 products, including:

    • Assigning resources

    • Working with various teams to set and meet deadlines

    • Working with customer facing team and/or directly with customers to gather requirements

    • Communicating design decisions, timelines, and rollout plans to the customer facing team and/or directly to customers

    • Making release decisions and writing release notes

  • Coordinate product and feature rollouts with the Field Engineers and Customers,

    including:

    • Coordinating and leading training presentations

    • Providing documentation and example programs to minimize time to market

  • Run daily engineering sync calls to discuss ongoing projects and roadblocks.

  • Maintain a customer driven roadmap for each product.

  • Assist Field Engineers during the customer onboarding process and production

    rollouts, including ad hoc visits to customer sites with Sales or Field Engineering.

  • Connect the right people in the right room at the right time.


Required Skills

  • Professional experience working in C or Java

  • Proficient in Linux

  • Technical communication: must be able to facilitate complex technical issues among

    Development Engineers, Field Engineers, and Customers.

  • Understanding of market microstructures and exchange protocols is an added benefit

Education

  • Must possess a BS Degree or higher in Computer Science / Engineering.
